Setting up Echo Plus 1st gen on multi speakers

Is the Echo Plus 1st gen compatible with this feature? I'm trying to set it up with an Echo Dot as a group, but when I go to the multi speaker set-up, only my two Echo Dots show up at all, despite the fact that all three devices are registered to me, on tj same WiFi network and the device shows up in the main menu. Everything I read seems to suggest it should be compatible, but it's just not showing up.

All echo generations and devices support multi-room music. I would imagine that your echo plus is running an old version of firmware and needs updating before it will work with the multi-room feature.
