Directv skill issue

Please tell me someone on here is using the Directv skill and it actually works for them? We received our echo dot for Christmas and immediately upgraded our directv receivers to the newest genie they offer so we could use this skill through our echo dot. It worked for about 12 hours and now Alexa says “family room tv does not support this skill”. I was on the phone with Amazon for over an hour disabling/enabling and exhausting every option to the point where the woman escalated it to the developers themselves because there wasn’t a fix. I even called directv to see if there was a wireless connection issue and that turned out to be fine. I will point out that my Alexa is working just fine with my Vizio SmartCast turning on/off and volume up/down she’s just not wanting to work with the Directv 🤷🏻‍♀️
