I tried to set up the Alexa next to my bed to play ocean sounds continuously while I sleep (in replacement of a sound soother). What I've seen other people recommend is to create a "routine." However, I realize Alexa can't just play sounds on loop as a music app can, so this is what I do:
Routine: Play "Ocean Waves by Joe Baker on Apple Music for 30 minutes."
Then, I create routines from 11:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m., then another to 12:30, 1:00... you get the idea. Lots of routines!
For some reason, my ocean waves don't play consistently. Sometimes it will go a whole hour playing nothing at all, and I have to start the sounds manually on my app.
Has anyone tried to make their Alexa into a sound soother? Any tips or tricks that you'd recommend? Thanks!
