Echo Show (2nd gen) - Network USB

For the Echo Show (2nd gen) what USB version (i.e. 1.1, 2.0, etc.) is built into the back of the unit?
What Network USB devices are compatible? Can it go up to a 1GB connection?
I haven't seen much documentation on this.

The Echo dot does not connect to the network via USB. The USB port is strictly for power. Network connection is wireless only.

I contacted Amazon Technical support. They stated the "Network port on the back of Echo Show is meant for specialized Enterprise experiences. We currently do not offer support for consumer use of the Network port."
I asked for documentation on the "specialized Enterprise experiences" and was informed "that information is not available on Amazon website. It is internal information. We do not have access to further details regarding this port."
This is sad considering many media sources and reviews touted the port as a feature.
Does anyone have any information on this?

From what I heard, its USB port supports OTG (On-The-Go) so you can connect devices to it like keyboard, mouse and USB flash drives.
