I have a routine that will perform certain actions when I say "Good morning"".

News , weather , calendar etc.
.
However, how can I get Alexa to read my reminders for the day?

isn't that part of the Start My Day routine?  What's in that one's definition, since it's the default from Amazon?

If you have your reminders/appointments in your calendar, you can select "Calendar" and then select "Todays Calendar" to have Alexa read all your reminders.
