Bluetooth weirdness

Setup: Echo Spot, Bluetooth-connected to Bose Soundtouch 10 - about 8 ft apart
Problem:  Occasionally (usually during the morning wake-up alarm) sound will come thru the Bose only intermittently and, what's worse, the Spot won't respond to voice commands to shut off the alarm.  The only cure seems to be to power cycle the Bose,  Any ideas?

One possibility is that something is interfering with the bluetooth.  Have you other devices in the vicinity that are bluetooth connected?
