Apple has built up the choices for male and female voices for Siri in various vernaculars and accents since 2014. This is something Amazon still can't explore with Alexa. By and by, regardless, you can change Alexa to have a British explanation or talk in German. Regardless, they're all in the proportional, mechanical voice.
