A new development , for me anyway.
I am in the U K....

My dot sometimes shows green ring light . I ask it what notifications?
She says you have a delivery due including ( whatever).

Is this a new way of letting us know about Amazon deliveries ? They used to e mail us
Any thoughts appreciated.

Yes, this is a new notification method to the UK, been in the States for some time.  Can be turned off if you don't like it.
