in case anyone is interested.  Look like they just knocked off 30 bucks on a show 8 if you preorder today.    wish this was last week, I went ahead and ordered a show 5 and got it friday...

I'm sure black Friday prices will be good too. Amazon always heavily discount echo devices during black Friday.
