This is one heck of a deal!  This price is a $50 discount, whereas past "deals" have only been $20 off.  I already have two of these (one bought at the $20 off price) and really do not need another one, but the price is tempting!  Get one today if you ever thought you wanted one.  I find mine handy to have.

I bought the 32" TV w/free Fire Stick the first day of the sales for $119, and TV arriving today.  I could be broke before Prime Day actually arrives if I keep on buying stuff.

It was too good to pass up I purchased one this morning even though it wasn't on my need list.😉
For $69.00 plus tax $73.83 heck yea, I did have a little problem I had a brainfart for just a moment that I couldn't remember the special word that I setup to order through Alexa.

surprised nobody mentioned the 10 dollars off if you spend 20 or more if you order using the echo.  this means that tap could be 69   :-)

I couldn't resist. I ordered one too, for $69 (after $10 off). With tax, it was almost $75.
I think it would be nice to have it when I'm working in the garage or backyard, so I can stream my music. But I do wish that it was voice activated, instead of having to press a button. If I'm working on my car in the garage and my hands are full of grease, I would like to be able to control the Tap without having to touch it.

I have mine in the sling case and use a paper towel to put a hand around it and press button with my thumb when my hands are dirty.  A one-hand operation.

Other suggestions:
-- Slip on one of the plastic bags the newspaper gets delivered in -- sound will get in/out
-- Wrap the Tap in kitchen plastic wrap; at least the top half of unit.

My Echo Tap was delivered today, Sunday. I wasn't expecting it till Monday, which was what the tracking information estimated.

It's nice to get it a day early. I envisioned the Tap to be bigger, maybe closer to the size of the original Echo. But it sounds really good, feels tough and sturdy, and I'm happy to have paid only $69 + tax for it.

If I was in the market for a 3rd Echo I'd jump on that $129.99 deal.  Other than that this looks like another "meh" Prime Day (though I did pick up a couple of 64 GB microSD cards for $14.99 each, which is a good deal).
