I understand that you prefer the Windows phone OS. I also think it's great, and if it had more applications (specifically solid Google integration) then I would be using one as well. However, understand when you buy a phone with less than 3% market share that you're unlikely to be anyone's target development platform. Amazon didn't force you to buy a Windows phone. You knew (or should have known) when you bought it that the app store is weak and few major players are targeting it.
Having said that, maybe checking out an Android emulator might work?
