I bought a 2019 LG OLED 65” B9. The main reason I chose this make was the alleged Alexa capability. The link to the Echo proved less than robust.
When I first set it up, it worked fine. It was rather more limited than I had hoped (see separate posting), did work -- at first. It was very disappointing that it stopped working at all after a few days, that is to say, Alexa no longer knew that the TV existed, for no apparent reason. I tried several times to set it up again, including deleting both the Alexa and LG apps and reinstalling them and the LG skills. I called both Alexa and LG technical support and they recommended the same procedure.
On the umpteenth attempt it worked again but after a few days it failed again.
Does anyone else have this problem?
