Hey All,
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my post.
I have 2 echos: 1 Dot and and a Show.
For a while now we've had no issues with any of them. We stream alot of music and radio on both. About 4 months ago our Echo Show would suddenly start buffering after about 3 or 4 minutes into a radio stream. At first I thought it was only around the commercials but then it started to happen randomly even within the middle of a song.
That made me start testing that maybe it was the radio station itself so I started trying other stations streaming and found it would happen with them as well. We mainly use TuneIn so I started trying to stream the same stations on Radio.com, IHeartRadio, their direct alexa app etc. Still same buffering issue. Stream play for a few minutes, look like it's buffering (no alert from alexa) and then it would just start up again on it's own.
Our next test was the Dot upstairs but surprisingly it never had a problem. We would stream the same radio stations as the show and they never buffered. Constant, smooth stream. Weird.
Our router and all is working just fine and we have over 200mbs service. Also, amazon music and stuff like that plays just fine without issue on the Show and Echo.
Why would everything else run fine but when i play 'Any' live radio feed it do this buffering...and only on the Show?
Again this is random and things worked fine for a LONG time...nothing has changed...just started happening.
Been googling etc forever...found this board and fingers crossed maybe someone has a solution and i'm just missing something.
Thanks!!
