Podcasts and Amazon Music Unlimited

I've been struggling trying to find a means to listen to podcasts via my Echo Show and can't find any clear answer. Amazon support told me that I need to upgrade to Amazon Music Unlimited in order to listen to podcasts, can anyone confirm this? I've been thinking of upgrading to AMU Family, and if it means podcasts work then for sure I'd fork over $15 a month--although I don't understand why they don't offer a discounted, yearly fee like they do in the States

it depends on the podcasts you want to listen to.  Somes free, somes not.   I listen to a couple of free ones from amazon music.   also, check the alexa skills to see if there are any for the podcasts you like.
