Alexa location trouble

Hello, I've searched for information on my problem but am coming up empty handed.

My issue is for location based services (eg: weather) when asked, my alexa gives me the weather for a city by the same name in the same province. I have the device location selected properly. but again when asked, it gives me the information for a city about a 7 hour drive north of me that happens to have the same name.

Every "solution" I find refers to setting the devices location. which i've done. and redone multiple times. Making sure that both the Accounts location and the Device location are correct.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try setting your location by only the ZIP code without the city/state.

The only other thing I can suggest is to set your location to a town/city that is near you.

Thank jwlv, I was unable to set it to only the postal code, the alexa app just keeps saying its unable to update the location information.

So i was forced to go to a nearby town. I was trying to avoid this, but at least its more accurate.
