Sonos Beam

When I try to add my Sonos Beam to a speaker group with my Dot and gen1 Alexa I get a Not Compatible message on the Beam. 
Is it not possible to add a Sonos Beam to an Alexa group?  Would love to be able to rock out to the same song throughout my house.
