Tower responds to voice, won’t stream music

Tower responds to voice, won’t stream music

I’m super frustrated. My tower is connected to my sound bar. When it responds to voice it comes thru the sound bar. When I ask for music it streams through the echo studio in a different room but will not stream music thru the sound bar.
I checked the Alexa app and the only device the tower is linked to is the sound bar so why the heck is it playing on the echo studio speaker?
