Idea: Turn off (disable) a routine within another routine

It would be helpful if alexa treated a routine like a switch.  There are times, like going on vacation where I don't want certain routines to run.  I have to manually go into a routine to disable it.  If I could just do a new routine like "vacation" and within it have alexa disable the other routine and now run this one it would be very useful.

Sounds like you need to look into an actual home automation system instead of using alexa routines to accomplish things.
