Got my megaboot today!

It is even lower profile than I had envisioned.  This is sweet if it lives up to its claims of 12 to 14 hours play time.  I cant wait to try this out.  Anyone else order a megaboot?  Any early results?

Not sure yet.  I believe it came partially charged as it didnt tale long for it to fully charge (about an hour maybe).  I will know better once I drain it as it still has charge today.

Okay, it ran out of juice after about 14 or 15 hours.  Minimal use, probably about an hour of music at voume 4 or 5.  Charging now...

...I'd guess that he bought the 14-hour "PowerBoot" rather than the 20-hour "MegaBoot" model.

Yeah, it's a bit of an inconsistency?  But I assume he just went with the name of the leading model from the line.

I bought the Mega Boot.  I thought I saw the 12 - 14 hours somewhere but I dont recall where.  20 is even better but it is not 20 hours of active use (i.e. playing music) for certain.

also, I plugged it in at 9:30 am today and it is 2:00 pm now and fully charged so it defintely takes less than 4.5 hours to charge from dead.

I am not crazy!  It said 12-14 hours in my email invoice:
