ECHO DOT, AWAY FROM HOME USING ANDROID HOW TO TELL ALEXA USING MY VOICE

Hi all.

newbie so go gentle LOL

OK, so ive set up all my lamps, TV etc etc
Lets say Im out of my house, and I want to tell alexa to turn the lamps on.
BUT....only using my voice.
Sooo if Im in a bar, I can use my android to >open the alexa app>using VOICE only to tell alexa to turn on "lounge lights, kitchen lights, play christmas songs

Yes. Tap the blue circle in the app, ask her to turn on or off whatever you want.  I do this all the time to disarm my Blink cameras, turn up (or down) the thermostat and turn on certain lights.
