Just today I noticed that there are "sponsored" home screen content on my Echo Show 5. What an even better reason to get rid of my Echo Shows. I've already been annoyed that Amazon adds new home screen content every few weeks. For a couple of years now, I've had to go into settings every few weeks to remove them on my many Echo Show devices. And more recently, you can't even get rid of the "Alexa for your day" content. I used to have a whole house full of Echo Show 5's. I've already gotten rid of several of them. I'm down to three left. Now there is even more incentive for me to get rid of the remaining three.
