Alexa needs a separate volume control

My frustration with the Echo system is the Alexa voice assistant's voice volume. When playing apps (e.g. Music) at low volume and I prompt for notification's I cannot hear what the assistant is saying because it is even lower in volume. Has anyone officially requested a separate volume control for the Alexa voice?

the echo devices already have two volume controls, one for media and one for other sounds.
