Using the echo in U.K
« on: July 27, 2016, 05:33:30 am »
Hello,

If anybody needs help getting their echo up and running in UK give me a shout!!

So far my echo is fully supported in UK with following

1 my actual time without saying time in London
2 my actual weather without saying weather in London
3 iheartradio
4 medical symptoms checker ( just incase I have a cold and need online reassurance that I am actually dying)
5 uk traffic
6 UK alarms

Thanks

M

I have all of the above working except traffic. How did you do that?

Just through the update of API bud. I did everything step by step and it works! For traffic to need to set your home address and place of work in Amazon app

Hi,

I managed to set the correct time zone (I'm in the Netherlands), but I'd love to know how to set the weather location.

Thanks in advance!

I've got my Echo working fine with my Homeseer home automation, but haven't got it working yet with weather, traffic etc. I'd be very happy if you could help please...

Hi this is the auction
Look at this on eBay:

Amazon Echo

What have you done so far does it know you are in uk? I.e do you have a u.k address etc?

Do you have a Amazon app and access to Amazon Alexa via A PC or Mac

Settings, device and then set location. Somehow it picked mine up (actually an old address - must have been in my Amazon account) automatically, so when I asked for the weather and time etc it got it right without me doing anything... The Mrs looked at me like it was some sort of gypsy magic!
