Just before I annoy everyone in the house, if I set an alarm on my Dot, does it go off on all the dots and the Echo?

No, it will only sound on the Echo/Dot/Tap device that you set the alarm on.

Of course, that doesn't mean that you aren't going to annoy everyone in your house anyway.  ;)
