Unable to get group to work properly

I have a group of two called "UPSTAIRS."  Occasionally it works correctly.  But frequently (like now) something like the following happens:

I say to Echo device #1 "Alexa Play KUOW FM on the UPSTAIRS group."

Alexa replies on Echo device #2 (not device #1) and proceeds to play material from KUOW FM on Echo device #2 (not device #1).

If I say to Alexa on Echo device #1 "Alexa Play KUOW FM" with no mention of the group, Alexa plays material from KUOW FM on Echo device #1.

Very strange.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried it without adding the word "group"?  My groups work well without having to add the word group to the phrase.  Good luck.
