I set up my new echo with no problem using the Alexa app. However, every time I now open the app it wants to take me through the set up process again. Any advise?

I had the same problem, give it a few hours and it should be fine.

Two questions: Is your Echo working (does it respond to questions, play music and so forth), and what are you opening the app to do? This might get us started on figuring out what's going on.
