Hue Scenes Discovered Twice

Hi

When asking Alexa to discover new devices she discovers 40! All my scenes are duplicated which means when I ask her to set a scene she says their is more than one scene in that name. 

Has anyone else had this issue?

did you check the alexa app to see if there are duplicates?  sometimes if the names are similar you will get the same from alexa.  for example, a while back, I had living room tv and bedroom tv on alexa.  nine times out of ten, alexa would ask which one.

Scenes apply to Rooms in Hue. So for each discret Room that you have, unless you delete Scenes they will come across in Alexa discovery. Have four Hue bulbs, one in the bedroom and one in the living room and two in the dining room? The Arctic Aurora scene will show up three times. So will the Savannah Sunset scene, and every other scene.

Simply delete the ones you don't want after discovery is complete. Or leave them, and be able to say "Alexa, turn on Arctic Aurora in Living Room" and then "Alexa, turn on Savannah Sunset in Bedroom".
