My Bluetooth Music Interacted with Alexa

I connected a Bluetooth transmitter to an old hi fi player and played music. My wife downstairs called up that the echo dot in the kitchen was playing my music and would not obey a command to stop. She was not pleased !

Has anybody else had this crossover?

It seems I will stick to wired headphones now.....

Somehow your Dot got paired with the new transmitter.  All you need to do is unpair all BT devices from the Dot from within the Alexa app BT settings.
