I'm sure Petlexa was a joke.  And according to the news, lots of people were getting a head start.  Google does April Fools every year.  This IS a joke

Yea, I know.  As always. Amazon tried to beat Google to the punch -- like they did by getting Alexa to market before Google's Home!
