"Alexa Calling not available for device" - Its a echo

"Alexa Calling not available for device" - Its a echo

Just got a new echo for my mom and set it up.  ONce all setup, when I try to have it make a call it says that Alexa calling not supported on this device.  What gives?  Its a brand new echo.

most likely don't have the latest update yet.  give it time to update.

Or go to the Google Play Store and update to the latest software version.

you cannot download firmware from the play store.  since the echo was just setup, I am willing to bet they do have the latest app.
