I am using my Harmony to control my TV and Fan. When I use the Harmony App, the specific devices turns ON (TV turns ON without the Fan turning ON and vice versa). However, when I configure Alexa skill to turn ON "TV", the TV would turn ON along with the Fan. This becomes problematic when I have one device turn ON (eg. when I have the TV turn ON and would like to turn OFF the Fan, both devices will turn OFF).
I have "Fan" and "TV" devices under Alexa so I do not understand why would Alexa groups them into one device. I've tried updating the Harmony firmware and even starting from scratch but issue still persists. I've also tried manually learning the remote via Harmony just in case both TV and Fan uses the same CODE to no avail. I do not think this is Harmony issue since I can use the Harmony command fine on both devices. This just happens when I use Voice Control via Alexa.
Just an FYI my fan is a Dyson and my TV is an LG.
Thanks.
