Sure you can; the (fake) demos take place in a Beverly Hills home, the first page of the link you sent states "Experience the first voice activated home automation system for high-end homes."

It is pitched at the very affluent; the same people who have a Mark Levinson stereo system, Jaguar, etc.  Got it?

Another couple of years and Josh will be silly... Echo can do most of that stuff already with existing 3rd party apps (even the multiple commands are probably already possible). Most of the things it does in their presentation already exist as well... and where'd he get that male voice for his Echo anyway?
