Getting Photobucket to work ANYWAY... without much extra effort.

I copied this from another forum today... hope it helps. And of course if it matters to anyone... probably a temporary fix but hey... for now...

Hey guys. Figured out how to screw PB back over. You can get your images working real easy. And for some reason half of mine started working. Here is a partial link (so that it does not actually display).

K so you have your link like above. All you do is a ~original to the end. Looks like this.

And when you do it, it turns out working like this....

Oops, it didn't work scottrods  
Wish we could upload photos from our computer. 
That would simplify everything.  Even when we could use
PB to host 3rd party photos, it was a hassle to have to upload
them to PB and then copy/paste the link in the forum.

So I clicked on the img option in PB (like always) and added the ~original.  It worked but is it right?  Are the PB police going to be knocking on my door in the middle of the night?   I wouldn't enter the house with a snarling ferocious Dingo on the other side of the door!

I don't know if it's a bad thing or what... but the images are still yours and arguably you have rights to them... I wouldn't worry too much as PB, if they maintain their stoopid program of extortion, will be no longer in short order... I give 'em about 2 years max, if they stick with it and don't make it more consumer level friendly.
