Doesn't change the zip code on echo?

I changed the zip code to Nicholas Ct. CA  Cotati 94931. I asked alexa what is my weather today? Every time Alexa said san jose weather. Can anybody help me please? Thx

Must be something in the water.  My Google Home has me located in Essex Montana and is give me weather information for Indiana.  Its giving me mountain time instead of central time but my alarm goes off at the correct time.  I've been waiting for it to correct itself but it hasn't yet so I guess I'll call technical support. Oh and unplugging it for 5 minutes didn't work but it might work for you.  It's on Google's end not mine.

I just got off the phone with Google technical support to help with the issue of my Google Home giving me the wrong weather, time and location. The fix was for me to unlink the account and relink it. This had to be done on all my Google Home devices.  It worked. It might be the answer to your Echo problem as well.  Good luck.
