Something is Wrong w/ My Bedroom Google Home

I said "Alexa, what is the current wind speed?"  He didn't reply but the Dot in the bathroom did (but she couldn't answer)  So I asked again, "Alexa what is the current wind speed?"  No lights, no nothin' on the GH.  "Alexa!"...nothing. 
So I checked the connection, unplugged it and rebooted.  Lights came on to let me know it was ready to go.  So again, "Alexa, what is the current wind speed?"  Again with the silent treatment.  Then it hit me...perhaps he'd answer if I used the right name for crying out loud!!!  He did and answered correctly.  Wind speed was 22 mph out of the NW

Typical man!  He should have known what I meant.  I think I'll change the voice back to a woman
