Echo Plus Hue color change

Hello i just got my Echo plus with the Hue bulb.
The included bulb as i understand it only has dim/on/off.

If i get a Hue color bulb will my Echo plus be able to change color with out the hue-hub ?

I definitely would buy a smart color bulb soon. Just looking for a good deal. I would imagine though that you can change color via voice. I will update once I own one.
