How connect Amazon echo to google drive via plex to stream music?

Since Amazon is getting rid of uploaded music to their Amazon Storage locker even if legal (in about a year) ....I thought there was a way to play music via Amazon, Plex and Alexa.

I have the Plex app skill on Android phone, it is linked to google account, I created a plex ONLINE account (I do not have a physical server), I created a "music" folder" on Google Drive and uploaded a few MP3 songs.

I have done all of the above (probably incorrectly) and when I tell Alexa "Ask Plex to play music", Amazon echo tells me: plex server cannot be found.
Well I do not have a plex server but hoping the online plex account with google linked login might point to google drive. But I saw no setting for this on Plex app online or in the Alexa app.

I am fairly decent at searching google but not in this instance.
Is what I am asking possible?

Thank you very much
Peter

Peter, there is no way to connect Amazon and Google drive, Plex etc.  If you can play the music from Plex, Google drive (or ANY music from any source) on your phone, all you need to do is send it via bluetooth from phone to an Alexa device.  Easy.

Last I searched about Plex you need to have a plex server to have it work with Alexa. And it ain't free.

Does anyone read the Cortana thread here?LOL like I said, Alexa obsessed people here. Which makes sense.

Thank you. I was trying to avoid  using Bluetooth I wanted it to work like it does presently via Amazon music storage BUT with some sort of cloud service where I can  upload my mp3s. I'm sure by the time Amazon eliminates their cloud storage for uploads  in 2019 there will be some alternative for free or paid. Have a good holiday. Sincerely Peter

Plex, for the most part, is free. I have a plex server running and it serves up music very nicely without having to use bluetooth anymore. Even if you do want to pay for the plex pass, you can get lifetime deals which can work out cheaper than other options like jriver, mymedia, and certainly spotify premium.
