Tap was updated!

I thought the Tap was completely abandoned.

Latest app update lets you turn off the obnoxious beep at beginning and end of request under hands free setting.

If they just add multi room music it will be a full fledged Echo again and my favorite device in the lineup again.

Lately my two Taps have been unloved because of lack of updates. If they ever add multi room music I'll buy a few more.

Does it work for you?  Now that I've gotten around to actually trying it, both my Taps still beep at me. Sigh.

Well, at least they're working on it.

I've switched them off and on and still get the beeps.

I switched off the sounds on my Tap and it is still making the boing.
