How to talk to Alexa on my phone
« on: June 21, 2018, 10:51:16 am »
The instructions on the internet say to click the microphone icon in the Amazon shopping app. However that icon does not exist on my phone. Probably there is some sort of setting that keeps that frim showing up.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

make sure you update your alexa app. Normally you open the app and there's an icon you press. Now though once you launch the app and even when you closed it, the alexa icon stays in the background and you can access it anytime.

It's not mic it's a  like a circle alexa icon.

Hi David

I know exactly what you mean. I have an iPhone and the Amazon shopping app. When I open the Amazon app, the microphone symbol is at the top right of the screen. Are you not seeing this? I’ve attached a thumbnail. Simply click the thumbnail to see the full image.
