Default shopping list versus OurGroceries skill

I've got a bug that I want to try to iron out. I'm using the skill/app "OurGroceries" for shopping lists. However, there seems to be another default shopping list on Alexa. The problem is confusion between the two lists.

If I say, "Alexa, ask OurGroceries to add salsa to the shopping list," then usually salsa is correctly added to OurGroceries, which I can access with the OurGroceries app. But if I forget to specify "ask OurGroceries," then Alexa adds salsa to some other shopping list that I don't know how to access. In either case, Alexa will say "Added salsa to the shopping list," so I don't know whether the item has been added to the correct list or not.

Ideally, I would like to disable the list that Alexa defaults to so that OurGroceries is my only app for making shopping lists. Alternatively, I'd like to know how I can access the list that Alexa makes other than the one using OurGroceries. As far as I can tell, the only way for me to access that unwanted list is by asking Alexa what's on it while I'm at home -- not very useful for a shopping list!

Main Menu > Lists > Shopping.
You can then tap on each item and select Delete.

It's added to Alexa app shopping list. To access it use your Alexa app.

Personally the Alexa app shopping list is enough for me. For reason that the OP just posted. I don't need a mouthful of command to add to my shopping list.

I just didn't like that you can only add 1 at a time.

I am with you.  I wish you could change the default grocery list.  I also use OurGroceries.

If you really like our groceries app try Google Assistant. I just checked it. It's supported.
