Echo Dot - Power Cord Question
«

Hi,
I have an Echo Dot and another device on an outlet. Both devices use USB power cords rated at 5V 1.8A.
Would I have any issues putting both on a 2-port charger (like
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01907R45M/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2691ZBIKXAV7P&psc=1
) that puts out 5V and a max of 4.8A? I'd like to free up one of the two plugs on the outlet.
Thanks for your help!

I have plugged my Echo Dot (2nd gen) in multiple USB chargers and ports and have not had any issues with any of them.

you should not have any problems. I use a cheap surge protector with usb outlets from walmart :-) also consider and depending on the other device, both might not be drawing power at the same time.
