My new Amazon smart plug missed a routine lamp-off last night. Where do the timed commands come from? Does the plug have a clock and memory? Does one (or both) Echo Dot send the command at the designated time? Or does the command come from the Amazon server?
I was able to command the switch off with a voice command through one of the Echo Dots with no problem.
In the meantime, I added another routine to the schedule to try another off command 5 minutes after the first one.
