How to use Alexa app to turn off Now Playing items?

I've been noodling around in the app. So I have 3 items showing up as playing on various echos or groups.  How do I shut them off.  There seems to be no way to do this.  Thanks.

what do you mean by playing and what apps?  are you talking about lights and such or music?    are you still able to give voice commands and they do what you want?

IMO, if they still work with voice commands, then it should not matter what the apps shows.   I have a couple of lights myself that shows on in the app but works properly with voice.
