Having complained ever since I bought my 2 Spots that UK skills are not available at my French location, today I found out that I can now enable them (including Uk flash briefing sources).  :) :)

Is this a new thing that I have missed?

Now my Spot is the gadget that I wanted it to be!

I can't confirm if anything has changed regarding UK skills in France, but know that Alexa features are constantly changing. Most of the time it's for better, but sometimes it's for worse and they break something that was already working. Echo/Alexa is continuously evolving and there's no telling what can change in the future.
