Access point Echo dot controlled by House Echo dot

Hi, my apologies if this question has been asked before. I have cabin at the bottom of my garden approx 50mtrs away. Ran an ethernet Cat5e cable and fitted a TP link router in Access point mode which gives me wifi down there but obviously on a different wifi via the TP Link. I would like to be able to say cabin lights on to my Echo dot in the house on my home wifi and for the cabin echo dot to respond (smart plug fitted). I may be able to use the Smart life app to physically do this but really would like voice activation to switch on heating, lights etc. I would appreciate it if anyone knows how I can do this?

different wifi don't mean a thing, as long as the echo device is connected to the same amazon account there should be no problems.   In addition it makes no difference where you are when you give the command as long as you are connected to amazon.
