replacing complex phrases to a skill

I often say:  Alexa, tell Plex to play my playlist  example

i want to substitute a different phrase, like:  Alexa, poof example
and have it send the phrase 'tell Plex to play my playlist example' to Plex; or even send the phrase to Plex:  play my playlist example.

How do I send a skill, like Plex, a canned phrase like this?  IFTTT ??

don't know if it will work, but did you try creating a routine to shorten the command?
