Will not play sleep sounds all night

I purchased an echo dot 4th gen w/clock and Alexa because my old clock quit playing my ocean sounds cd all night--it died.  So, I tell Alexa to open ocean waves and expect her to play it until I wake up and tell her to stop.  Nope, won't do it.  Sometimes plays a few minutes, sometimes a few hours but cannot get her to play sleep sounds all night long.

HOW DO I DO THIS?  It's driving me crazy.  I've had it a week and have tried different commands, but nothing will play all night!

What service is playing the ocean sounds that you requested? Amazon does not have ocean sounds on its own. What you are playing is either from a music streaming service or an Alexa skill. Some of them are free, some of them cost a few bucks. Find out who is providing your ocean sounds and see if it costs money, or if it's free is there some sort of limit on how long it can play, etc.
