In the day, I used an Echo Dot in my car but along came Echo Auto (EA) so I swapped them out. Sadly, I can’t seem to find much use for EA as it’s not empowered to do much. I say: “Alexa, turn on the porch light”, reply is “I can’t do that”. “Lock the front door”, same reply. “Close the garage door”, nope. Every Alexa enabled device I own can do that (including the Dot that hogged my cup holder” but the EA can’t? Does anyone know of a work around or is this all there is?
