Using Echo Show as an INPUT device on a PC

Hey Everyone!

I have a gen 2 Show and wanted to know if anyone has found a way to make it an INPUT device into a PC. I have a nice audio setup on my PC and would LOVE to incorporate Alexa functionality into it. It has no audio outputs, only a micro USB port that allegedly can only be used for an ethernet cable if wifi isn't available. I would love to be able to tell Alexa to play a song, and A. it simply outputs sound through my PC to my speakers or B. controls Amazon Music to do the same.

I think the ideal scenario is a relationship between the show and the amazon music app on my PC where the echo show can be the input device, but will also show the music artwork and song playing on the PC. Likely no solution, but I wanted to check to see if anyone has ever found a way.

Thanks!

Check out Trigger CMD https://www.triggercmd.com/ it will allow you to control Trigger various things on a PC Mac or Linux via Alexa or Google home. You may need to create a script on your PC and or an Alexa routine but it should do what you want. If you get stuck the author is very helpful as well as the forum members https://www.triggercmd.com/forum/
