Dot with two BT speakers

I'm thinking of ordering a Dot in addition to my Echo. I have a small Bluetooth speaker and also an adaptor which plugs into the AUX input of my hifi system. Do I have to chose one or the other, or will the Dot be able to pair with both and use whichever is switched on, please?

Seems like you should be able to, but on the other hand you cannot send audio from Echo to stereo aux in and BT to speaker at same time.

Thanks. I later found this article which implies that it will be possible, although in fact having thought about it I'll probably only be using only the portable speaker anyway.
